As far as I know, TM Net&#039;s broadband infrastructure is not that good. Besides, the repairing and relaying of the undersea fiber optic cables are still in progress. From the news previous, it&#039;s going to take at least a couple of months before the relaying can be finished.

I&#039;m afraid to disappoint you that the connection speed is still going to be more or less the same unless TM Net directs all it&#039;s connect via VPN (Australia to US) instead of APN2 which traverse to Taiwan and then US.

So be patient.</description>

		<description>Hello is there any new news about the internet getting any better any time soon?? On the the tmnet website they posted their latest news which was dated on the 23rd january saying that its gonna be ok on the 29th january.  Today is the 29th of january and its still like i&#039;m using a 14.4k modem (I paid for a 1M line). If somebody can post some new news or updates after the 29th of january, that would shed some light on me.  Thanxs.</description>
